In Champaign, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Illinois on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

I came in for a pickup order at 930 tonight (sunday). Drew was perfect for the counter. She made sure I had all the options for a carry out pizza. I didn't even ask. It's not often you get great service anymore. That little extra is appreciated. I see you Drew and hope your manager does too

Monicals is the best pizza I ever had! Their French dressing is delicious and I know this sounds weird but, I mix the French dressing and cheese sauce and itβs delicious! Highly recommend my favorite location is the one in Tuscola, Illinois. People there are very kind. Highly recommend! Hereβs another review with more serious and detailed! The dining experience at Monicalβs Pizza stands as a paradigmatic exemplar of pizza craftsmanship which emphasizes a thin-crust foundation. The crust displays an exceptional degree of thinness and crispiness which avoids undesirable brittleness, achieving a textural harmony which remains both satisfying and consistent. The tomato sauce delivers a subtle and well-calibrated sweetness which harmonizes with the savory components, and the cheese quality and distribution further augment the overall compositional balance. The restaurant environment maintains a notably tranquil ambiance which remains moderately quiet and which upholds rigorous cleanliness standards. The interior provides comfortable and spacious seating which is complemented by subdued lighting and by unobtrusive decor, contributing to an overall relaxed dining atmosphere. The staff

Was recommended this place by a neighbor so I decided to give it a try. Ordered online and picked up to bring home. The price in my opinion is very high for a single pizza compared to other pizza in the area not to be blown away by taste. While the pizza does taste good, it is not the best tasting pizza in town (in my opinion) and shouldnβt cost early as much as it does. The pizza came on a ska of cardboard inside a paper bag, covered with aluminum foil, which is the first I have seen a pizza place do. Upon unwrapping the pizza, I noticed the pizza was cut into about 60 1β - 2β pieces. I found this odd as it appeared to be made to eat with toothpicks as an appetizer. However, it did surprise me with its taste and was quite delicious. I do prefer sliced pizza which I think allows for better eating. The meal came with a family salad that essentially was chopped lettuce topped with shredded cheese, nothing spectacular. While the pizza was good, I donβt think I will order again. I encourage you to try if you are looking for something new or just want to taste something new. Overall, I rate the pizza a 4.0 out of 5 and the salad a 2.2 out of 5.

Mediocre medium size pizza (2 out of 5) that comes with an extravagant price - 27 dollars!!! The bread sticks were not cooked - we felt like we ate dough. All together, this mediocre dinner cost us, with the tip, 50 dollars. What a waste of dollars! The service was good. No complaints. The food, though was a disaster. We will NEVER step into this place again! The next day we went to The Olive Garden and got pasta with bread sticks and salad, and for desert tiramisu - all excellent for 28 dollars!!! What a difference an food quality and price!!!
